  • Can I transfer my visitor pass to a colleague?

    If you wish to give your visitor pass to a colleague please email [email protected] and include the following information:

    • Your full name and email address that you used to register
    • Your colleagues first and last name
    • Your colleague’s job title
    • Your colleague’s organisation
    • Your colleague’s email address

    Please note; we will be unable to transfer your registration to a colleague unless your colleague is CC’d in your email.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    If you wish to cancel your booking please contact [email protected]. In your email please include your contact details and the email address that you use to register for your pass.

  • What do I do if I can no longer attend?

    If you can no longer attend the Summit but have already received your visitor pass, please email [email protected] to cancel your physical registration.

    If you prefer, you can transfer your pass to a colleague, we have details of the transfer progress in the FAQs.

  • Can students attend?

    The Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit is designed for healthcare leadership. Students are unable to attend unless they are also in a leadership role. Recordings* of sessions will be available after the Summit to stream on-demand.

    *We will only share presentations where we have explicit permission from the speakers.

  • How much does the event cost to attend?

    Healthcare ticket:

    Complimentary pass

    This pass is available for professionals that work for/in the NHS, the care sector, local/central government, charities, academia, the wider public sector or independent healthcare providers.

    All applications will go through a screening process which will take up to 2 working days.

    We encourage vendors that wish to get involved should contact us at [email protected], please do not fill in this form as your application will be denied.

    The cost of this ticket gives you access to the full event including all educational streams, the exhibition, a hot lunch, refreshments throughout the day and an invitation to a complimentary networking drinks reception. A CPD certificate will be sent by CPD for 8 points 60 days after the event.

  • What is CPD?

    CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities.

    CPD enables learning to become conscious and proactive, rather than passive and reactive. CPD is the holistic commitment of professionals towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout their careers, offering an opportunity for an individual to improve and have effective professional development.

  • When will I receive my CPD Certificate?

    CPD certifications will be sent out by The CPD Certification Service 30 days after the event close. We will do our best to get your certificates to you as quickly as possible and thank you in advance for your patience.

  • How many CPD points can I gain from attending?

    In total, the HETT Summit offers 14 hours of CPD certified content split across multiple theatres during the 1-day event.

    It can take up to 60-days to process the CPD information. The CPD Certification Service will send out CPD certifications. We will work closely with the CPDCS to ensure that certificates are received as quickly as possible.

  • Are there any prayer rooms available?

    There are no dedicated prayer rooms, but if required, rooms can be allocated. Please contact the QEII ahead of your attendance to the Summit by clicking here.

  • Are dogs allowed in the venue?

    The QEII welcome guide dogs, hearing dogs and other assistance dogs at the Centre. No other pets are permitted.

  • Do you have cloakroom or storage facilities?

    There is a free of charge cloakroom on the ground floor where larger items, such as suitcases, can also be stored. The QEII does not store items overnight in the cloakroom.

  • Are there parking facilities available for all types of vehicles onsite?

    There is no public car parking facilities at the QEII Centre, but you can find information on local car parks here.

  • Can you provide any information on local restaurants?

    Reception has a list and will be able to provide assistance. Alternatively, click here for more information on nearby leisure facilities.

  • What is the smoking policy?

    The QEII Centre operates a no smoking policy within the venue however smoking (including e-cigarettes and vaping) is permitted outside.

  • What facilities are there for disabled customers at QEII Centre?

    The Centre has disabled parking bays which can be used by blue badge holders. The Centre also has ramps into the building as well as onto stages in our main spaces. Disabled toilets are located on five of our seven floors.

  • Is there free WiFi?

    The QEII provide free, superfast wired and wireless connectivity throughout the QEII Centre, suitable for social media, browsing and email. When you arrive at the venue, please log on to ‘QEII Guest’.

  • Can I transfer my paid pass if I no longer can attend?

    Transfers are available if you cannot attend the Leading Healthcare Innovation Summit. However, if the transfer subsequently turned into a cancellation, the delegate would be subject to the cancellation terms.
  • Can I get a refund?

    This information is relevant to paid passes only.

    Cancellations must be received in writing by replying to the booking confirmation email a minimum of 30 days before the date of the conference. Cancellations will be subject to a £99+ VAT administration fee per delegate for all paid passes.

    Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to the full delegate fee, which will also be charged in the event of non-attendance. Substitutions may be made at any time by replying to the booking confirmation email.

  • Can I register for the event online?

    We encourage all of our attendees to register online ahead of the event.

    Registering in advance means that you can take advantage of a reduced contact-registration system. Securing your pass in advance will ensure our staff will be able to manage the crowd and plan effectively for a number of attendees.

  • What do I need to enter the event?

    We are highly committed to the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and the wider community. We have adopted the NHS COVID Pass for venues and events in England to ensure a safe event for everyone involved:

    ENTRY: NHS COVID Pass, Vaccination Proof or Negative Lateral Flow Test
    The QEII Centre requires all attendees to bring with them evidence of a negative lateral flow test (dated within 48 hours of attendance and reported on the Government website, displayed via text or via the NHS app) or proof of double vaccination no less than 14 days before attendance (displayed via the NHS app or NHS website).     How to get an NHS COVID Pass?
    You can get an NHS COVID Pass, obtained most easily via the NHS App, if you have been double vaccinated 14 days prior to the event or you have a negative LTF or PCR test within 48 hours of creating the pass.

    Please ensure you have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 contract tracing app AND the NHS App if you plan to use it to display your NHS COVID Pass on entry to the event.

  • What is the QEII Centre cleaning regime?

    To ensure the safety of all, the venue has introduced enhanced deep-cleaning measures, with an additional focus on high-frequency touchpoints, such as lifts, counters, toilets, doors, seating, meeting areas and handrails.

  • Will the QEII Centre provide sanitiser stations?

    For the purpose of personal hygiene, hand sanitiser stations will be provided and upon arrival, guests will be kindly asked to use the hand sanitisers located in the entrance. Please do bring your own personal supply if possible.

    The QEII Centre will ensure all spaces and touch surfaces are regularly sanitised e.g. door handles, push plates, stair rails, lift call buttons etc.

  • Will there be temperature checking?

    If you have access to a thermometer, we highly recommend taking your temperature before arriving at the venue. If you have a temperature of higher than 100.4 F, 38.0 C or any COVID-19 symptoms, we politely request that you refrain from visiting our event.

  • Are face coverings mandatory?

    We will be asking you to wear face masks in more confined environments to ensure this event goes ahead safely. We will have face masks available at the entrance to the event for every attendee if you forget your own and the venue will have sneeze screens available at reception and registration areas. Streams will be cleaned between each session and will have strict seating capacities.

    The QEII Centre requires delegates to cover their face when in public areas. Delegates will not be admitted to the site if they are not wearing a face covering or cannot present evidence of why they cannot wear a covering (lanyard/certificate).

  • Will there be social distancing in place at the event?

    We will be providing extra space within the venue to give visitors the room for social distancing. This will include more spaced-out networking areas and theatres. As are organisers we are managing this event professionally to reduce crowding and monitor it throughout the day.

    We encourage you to minimise touchpoints, be aware of those around you and follow the signage at the event. When walking around the event, we ask you to please keep to the left of any gangway to minimise paths crossing. We are implementing a no handshake policy. Please refrain from this or sharing business cards with one another. Exhibitors are encouraged to used data capture devices, to ensure contact-free sharing of business details.

  • Will there be track and trace active at the event?

    We are passionate about ensuring the safety of our visitors and exhibitors. In order to keep everyone safe, please have the NHS Track and Trace app installed on your mobile device. Using the app will allow for the local authorities to contact you if there is any need to. Please ensure you give accurate information throughout the registration process.

    The QEII Centre requires all visitors to show evidence of a negative lateral flow test dated within 48 hours of attendance (reported on the Government website & displayed via text or via the NHS app) or proof of double vaccination no less than 14 days before attendance (displayed via the NHS app or NHS website).

  • Add us to your safe senders’ list

    To ensure that our emails are recognised and land in the correct inbox, you can follow these simple steps to amend your settings:

    Outlook Desktop

    • Right-click our email in your Inbox email list pane
    • On the menu displayed move your mouse over or tap Junk
    • Click or tap on ‘Never block sender’ in the menu that rolls out
    • The resulting popup will say: ‘The sender of the selected message has been added to your Safe Senders List.’
    • Click ‘OK’

    Outlook Web

    • Open the email from …
    • Click the “Wait it’s safe” link
    • Mark Sender as “Wait it’s safe!

    iPhone Mail App (iOS)

    • Open your mail app and scroll down to the Junk Folder
    • Find the email you’d like to whitelist and slide your finger left to see options
    • Tap the ‘More’ button, and then ‘Mark…’ button
    • Select “Mark as Not Junk”
    • This will then move the email to your Inbox and any mail from this address will go straight to your inbox and not your Junk

    Google (G-suite)

    • Navigate to the spam folder
    • Search for emails containing the domain you wish to whitelist
    • Select all the emails shown
    • Click ‘More’ and then ‘Not spam’
  • How can I make a complaint?
